Terms of service

1. The service

PressFerry converts websites built on WordPress to Next.js, and optionally hosts and maintains them. The scope of each conversion is described on our pricing page at the time you order.

2. Your site and content

• You confirm you own the site you ask us to convert, or have permission to have it converted.
• We may ask you to prove ownership before starting, and may decline or refund an order if you can't.
• Your content stays yours. You give us permission to copy, store and publish it to provide the service.

3. Conversions

• We confirm a delivery date after reviewing your site.
• If your site needs work beyond the plan you bought, we'll quote it before doing it. If you don't want to go ahead, we refund your conversion fee.
• Two rounds of revisions within 14 days of delivery are included (three with a full redesign). A design refresh keeps your content, logo and colours; a full redesign is a new design built from your brief.

4. Hosting and care plans

• Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled, and can be cancelled any time.
• Cancelling stops renewal; service continues to the end of the paid period. We don't refund partial periods.
• A care plan “change” is a request taking up to about 30 minutes. Unused changes don't roll over.
• Each hosting size includes a storage and monthly traffic allowance, shown on our pricing page. We email you at 80% of either. If your site is over its allowance for two months in a row, we'll ask you to move to a larger size; we won't take a site offline for going over.
• Care Plus and Care Pro include Site hosting. Larger sizes are billed separately.
• Store payments are made to your own Stripe account. You are the seller: you handle refunds, disputes, taxes and fulfilment, and we never hold or receive your customers' payments.
• If hosting payments stop, we may take the site offline after notice. We'll keep your content for 30 days so you can come back or take a copy.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for illegal content, malware, spam, or to copy sites you don't own.

6. Liability

We work hard to keep sites fast and available, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
